Fun with Oobleck

Oobleck is a non-newtonian fluid. That is, it acts like a liquid when sitting still, but acts like a solid when a force is acting on it (strained). Oobleck gets its name from the Dr. Seuss book Bartholomew and the Oobleck where a gooey green substance, Oobleck, fell from the sky and wreaked havoc in the kingdom. Here the Oobleck will be made from corn starch and water on top of a speaker. You get to control the excitation using Frequency and Amplitude knobs to watch the Oobleck dance! If you touch the dancing peaks the liquid will feel like rubber.
